    Default point sdf elevation HELP

    hello

so i have 4 sdf connections, each with different points and different coordinates (xyz) but when i tried to view the perpective (3d) or to view them in isometric view they all appear to be in flat surface( not respecting the z vertex of the point) and all of themm are in the same plane, is there a way to make all of the point "sdf" connection to "be" in the elevation they have??

    Thanks in advance!!

Not with data connect and FDO you would have to use mapimport and then do an alter-property query to get the Z coordinates. Don't let the 3D in Map3D fool you there is very little 3D in FDO. I complained for years about them adding the 3d to the name when there is very little of it there.

thanks murph, but how can i make the alter-query to put the z elevation to the impoted data, is there any other way to put the "styled" FDO conection to an elevation ? i im using it for sampling in mines so i was hoping to use the styled and buffer analysis to get extra data.
    Thanks in advance

To do the alter-property query, you need to mapimport the sdf file(s) and create object data from the attributes of the sdf files. Then save that file, open a new file and use the map dwg attach tools to attach the file justed saved. Then run an query of dwgs attached using the alter property option and select the elevation to alter and get the data from the object data table.
