    Default "Always on" Spell Check

Summary: Spell Check to highlight misspellings to the user all the time (unless an ignore were selected).

Description: Spell Check only highlights spelling issues during the text, attribute or mtext editing process. The tool could be much more useful if misspellings remained highlighted all the time (unless an ignore were selected). The tool should function similarly to Microsoft Word's spell checking function. Misspellings can creep in when blocks get inserted or things get pasted in from other documents. A running spell check would highlight any issues in the drawing whenever it is open.

I not only second this request, but I'd even go one step further and request that Autodesk add a bit-coded System Variable that would notify users that incorrectly spelled words exist (similar to LAYERNOTIFY).

    Pseudo SPELLINGNOTIFY system variable:
    Code:
    SPELLINGNOTIFY

    Initial Value: 0
    Saved in: Registry
    Type: Integer

Specifies when an alert displays when incorrectly spelled words are found.

    0	Off
    1	Plot
    2	Open
    4	Load/Reload/Attach for xrefs
    8	Restore layer state
    16	Save
    32	Insert
