Question Can I plot everything on a layer (regardless of colour) to one colour, thickness etc.

    Hi,

I want to plot everything on a layer (regardless of colour) in one colour, thickness etc.
I mean set up a plot style regarding to a layer i.e. name (not to objects' colour) and forcing all objects colours, thickness on this layer to be plot in one style.

    Thanks

You could use either the monochrome.ctb or monochrome.stb files for your plot style. Now, neither of these files will change the thickness of polylines that have a width associated to them.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Would I be able to plot i.e. layer1 in plot style 'screening 25%', layer2 in plot style 'screening 100%' ... etc.?

    Thanks

That's what STB files do. Define a plot style, assign it to a layer, rock on.

Of course, as Opie noted, any plines that have an assigned width with ignore the STB line thickness setting, and print their assigned width. In addition, TrueType fonts will ignore the thickness setting, although they will respect screening I believe.
