I would like to find out if anyone knows how to activate a linked file (image, xcel or word document or a pdf, etc.,) basically an outside document by simply double clicking in the polygon or say a room or space? I do not wish to have a visible object with hyperlink attached to it. I am working on floor plans and at time on site plans. But if the viewer needs to go to a more detailed information that is stored outside of the dwg file, how to reach it by doubleclicking just anywhere in that polygon versus actually clicking Control+the Hyperlink?

Secondly, is there a way to combine all these files including dwg and external files into one "file" so when I send it to someone, all goes together as opposed to me sending the all those associated files, images, etc. separately? I think that is possible in Adobe where one can combine all the files into one "Binder". But in this case, I would like to see if I can keep the dwg file intact without converting into either pdf of dwf.
