Hi, new to the forum here and I probably know this topic has been pounded into ground before, but any advise on how to resolve the "scalelist" dialogue box not appearing would be great.

Hi, welcome to AUGI.
Does acad appear to freeze until you hit "Escape" ?
If so, the dialogue box is opening off-screen.
Type SCALELISTEDIT then hit Alt+Space and select Move.
By trial and error use arrow keys to reposition the dialog.
