    Default .CAL Files

I received several .CAL files. I can't open them and have tried several other programs. Does anyone have any ideas?

Calendar created by various Broderbund calendar design programs; contains dates and events, separated by months; may also include custom images for each month and user-defined formatting.

    Broderbund Print Shop
    Broderbund Printmaster
    Broderbund Calendar Creator
    American Greetings CreateaCard

In the future search "cal + file extension", replace CAL with what ever the extension you are looking for

    Are these raster images?
    AutoCAD Raster Design supports them.
Some versions of AutoCAD may support importing .CAL files also, possibly with the ARD OE installed.

If you don't mind converting them and if you're allowed to (can't imagine why not). Then some image editors could do this for you. I'd suggest XnView, its open source, can open CAL files and save to several formats (e.g. JPG, TIF, GIF, PNG, etc.) and most nice can do this on batches of files in one step.

Thanks for all the helpful tips. These are indeed simple Raster Images that we could Insert...I was hoping for actual drawings...oh well.

If you need this converted to linework, do a google for raster to vector convert. There's quite aq few progs out there, some better than others

Glad it worked for you! You're welcome, though all I did was point out a program
