Angry I crash every time I try to create a new part inside an Assembly

Am I doing something wrong? Is it because I don't have project path files set up properly and it freaks out?

    How to crash:
    1) create an IPT
    2) create IAM
    3) Insert IPT from step 1 into IAM
    4) Create new part inside IAM on surface of first IPT
    5) Click New Sketch
    6)Crash

    Every single time.

    Dell Precision T3500
    Intel Xeon W3550 @ 3.07 GHz
    12 GB Ram
64 Bit Win 7 Pro Service Pack 1
    NVIDIA Quadro 600 Driver Date 4/27/12 - Version: 8.17.12.9670

I was running with Graphics set to Quality with software graphics unchecked. After I crashed a few times, I changed to performance and checked the Software Graphics Box.

I'm going to uncheck software graphics and change to compatibility, but I have a bad feeling it is going to crash again.

    Thanks...
    Daniel

Default Re: I crash every time I try to create a new part inside an Assembly

    Update:

I had a crash today when I was just placing a model into a drawing file, this time when I sent the error report to AutoDesk it came back with this:

DL19384851 - Autodesk Vault 2013 - Inventor Add In Update

It says many people have been having an issue, it seems to be a vault issue, I guess this makes since, hopefully it also resolves my issue with creating new parts in assemblies.
