Default Maintaining a Custom Family Library

How does your office maintain their family library?

We have newly trained users that are having a hard time with the drop down list of loaded components. In addition, we have been adding custom content to our library for a year - it seems to be hard for the new users to find what they are looking for. I saw some information on a 3rd party content manager application a while back, but I can't locate the web site.

Yes, that is the thread I had seen previously. Is anything happening with the Content Highway product? anyone using it? Is it available in the US?

We are hitting similar problems especially as knowledge of creating families evolves. A lot of the old families we have I could probably bin......

what ever became of that product??

We have a system where all new families created are located into a provisional content folder where they are checked for maximum functionality. Also any files that don't function correctly are moved to this folder for amending.

As for preview's all families are saved so the thumbnail image gives a good representation of what the family contains...

    Seems to work very well.
