    Default Invalid Shapemanager Solid

I have a 3D model that a young, inexperienced tech unioned together and now, we can't manipulate the objects in any way. Separate, Slice, subtract, etc, nothing works. When I check the solid, I get the dredded "not a valid shapmanager solid" message. Has anyone found a way to repair these solids or at least make them editable again?

Most likely you will have to delete and rebuild but sometimes these work.
Try and create a 3d object that you can subtract from it. If it lets you then you can create copies of your object and cut it up into pieces and put it back together.
This can be time consuming but it will work if you can subtract something from it. Otherwise you will need to recreate.
Also try and find out why making it into a solid it caused this problem. Usually it is because of incorrect 3d modeling to begin with.
