    Default Drawing Organization and sheets

I've been in the Architectural Industry do over 15 years. In working on numerous projects I have always put interior elevations regardless of scale on sheet series A400's. I have also shown exterior elevations on sheet series A200. I am part of a committee in a new architectural firm. One individual thinks that all interior elevations that are not referenced from an enlarge plan should be listed in the A200's. Open to comments.

Uniform Drawing System (UDS), part of the National CAD Standards, would put both interior and exterior elevations in the 200 series, and use 400 series for large scale views, plans, sections, elevations, etc that are not details.

Seperating elevations into different series on the basis of interior or exterior would be inconsistent with NCS. It seems simpler to go with the documented standard, rather than re-inventing the wheel unless there is a compelling reason to do so. In this case, I can't think of one.
