Default Project Browser: Specify Default Subcategories

    Hello,
I'm trying to put together a new template for my office. I have set up my browser organization in a way that suits our office. The problem that I am having, is that when i generate new plans, elevations, sections, they do not get placed in the correct subcategory. how do i set up my template such that Plans go into the Plans Subcategory, Sections go into the Section Subcategory etc. thanks

You will need to give more information on what you have tried to do. What do you want for your browser organization? Plans, Sections, Elevations, Etc is considered "Family and Type" in the Browser Organization Properties. In our office, we have created a View Sort parameter that applies to all views. You can then use this parameter to establish categories. So, we will group plans in sub-categories using this parameter such as Dim Plans, Floor Plans, FFE, Slab Plans, Working... Similarly, for details, we may group by Exterior Wall, Roof, Sub-grade, Interior, Ceiling Details, Casework, etc. In the browser though, the folders are first grouped by Family and Type, then View Sort.
