    Cool Post it Note *

It would be great to have a Post it Note capability. Everyone knows how Post it Notes work, you us it as a quick note to reference and etc.

This could be used as an aid when someone is working in a dwg and you find a problem with the drawing. You have the Post it Note work similar like the new Palettes. You can have set to be somewhat transparent. You can make quick references to the Post it Note. The post it note can be e-mailed to another person working on the same project. So that person knows what you found in the dwg.

It could be used as a to do List. Take a look at the attachment for my example.

    Thank you,

    Brad

Thumbs up Re: Post it Note *

I have been using another down load to do this and it works good. So I think that something like this could be useful to the everyday AutoCAD user in any discipline.

You may go here for this down load. You can set the settings of the sticky note to be always on top so it will appear on the screen over AutoCAD. Make sure that you set the Opacity so that you can see through it.

This is what I am wishing that AutoDesk to be added to AutoCAD!!!!

Now hopefully that some off you have downloaded it to you computer. How do you like it? Have you change the setting to always be on top so it can show on top of CAD? Now you can see what I have been wishing.

Why would you need to add this to AutoCad???
Third part application is just fine.

If you have it as a third party software and you may forget to install. If it was added in with AutoCAD. Then there would be no need for a third part software.

works great but yeah could see some possibilities if it was build it.

If the "post-it" could be "attached" to a drawing so that when the drawing got opened it would pop up you could use it to tell other people who go into the drawing a few things without needing to use a no-plot layer. (eg. what ctb/stb file to use)

What I use it for is to keep track of what is changed in the drawing and task to be completed. After the project is completed it helps me to complete the revision tracking.
