    Default Files from Educational Versions

We received a file from a sub recently that keeps popping up a warning about being from an Educational Version of ACA. This pretty much means that the file is useless since anything we do with it has the educational watermark on the borders. Is there anything we can do other than have them use a commercial version of CAD to be able to use the data in the file?

    Report em... http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...3112&id=340446

In the meantime I believe you have to retrace everything with a legit copy for it to lose the popup...although I thought the watermark went away when opened with a legit version? Have you tried saving the file from your version and reopening it?

NO IT DOESN'T. (yeah, that needs to be yelled) Otherwise, what would be the point of the stamp if it could be removed so easily?

First, report it to the sub. They may be using an intern/student who was trying to do things at home, and both of them may not realize the problem exists. If the problem persists report it to the authorities.

It was an intern that worked on it at home. We talked to them and it's straightened out. thanks!
