Export Layers

When exporting a view is it possible to select only what layers will be on the DWG without switching off categories before? I was hoping to be able to export tags only as they are associated with geometry and can't keep it off unless doing it manually for hundreds of views.

I don't think there is a way to do exactly what you want. That said, I think the most efficient way--not a single setting unfortunately--is using view templates. For each view type, you could have two templates, one for printing and one for exporting. That's what I'd probably do.
