Default Excel file data onto Civil 3D map

    HELP!!! (2010 C3D)
I've got my Excel data in the Data Link but I can not find the way to import/show on the map?
The HELP was great on how to use Data Link but no info on what/how to move it into my map.

Are you wanting to show it as a Table in the drawing? or associate the data from the spreadsheet to objects in the map?

1] in Excel, select the cells to transmit, then CTRL-C
    2] in Autocad, CTRL-V

If you want realtime changes between the spreadsheet and the drawing, instead of CTRL-V, go to EDIT => PASTE SPECIAL => PASTE AS A LINK

In that way, when you edit the cells' content in Excel, automatically you'll get the drawing changed (maybe you'd need a regen).

    well..... that's one way.

It would probably be better to use the Table command. OLE objects are generally harder to work with, and print with poorer quality

I've heard that there are hiccups with this method....that sometimes the tables don't auto-update when a change is made in Excel. Have you heard of this happening in the 2012 or 2013 version?
