problem with dormer opening

Je n'arrive pas à créer une ouverture sur une lucarne qui a un toit créé par extrusion. y a-t-il une limitation ?

I can't create an opening on dormer which has a roof created by extrusion. is there a limitation?

Select the extruded curved dormer roof and you will see an option on the options bar for " Cut Plan Profile ".

No that's not.
what y want to do is an opening in the roof tha is highlighted in the picture below.
I want to do it using the opening feature with the dromer opening option.
When I select and trim all reference Revit says it can't close the perimeter.
I have try in plan view and in an elevation view (as said in help file)

Je veux faire une ouverture dans le toit qui est en surbrillance dans l'image ci-dessous.
Je voudrais utiliser la fonction d'ouverture en utilisant l'option lucarne
quand je sélectionne les limites et que je les raccordent, Revit dit qu'il ne peut pas clore le périmétre.
J'ai essayé en vue en plan et en élévation (comme indiqué dans l'aide)

Yves, tu peux essayer d'agrandir tes murs afin qu'il y ait une instersection entre ceux ci et le toit extrudé, ça doit marcher.


Yves, try to enlarge your wall so that they intersect with the extruded roof and it should works.

J'ai essayé, et j'obtiens toujours le même message.
est-ce que que tu as bien utilisé l'option "dormer opening" ?

Are you sure you used the "dormer opening" option ?

Yes, I've used a dormer opening, but you're right I've missed something in my previous post:
- add a reference plane aligned with the front of the extruded roof.
- select this roof and click "Change Plane" in option bar.
- select choose a plane and click the ref plane that you just added.
- may be you need to adjust your roof.
Now you can create a dormer opening

Oui j'ai bien utilisé une ouverture de lucarne, mais j'ai oublié quelques petites choses dans mon précédent post:
- ajoute un plan de référence aligné avec la face avant du toit extrudé.
- selectionne le toit et clic sur "Modifier le plan" dans la barre Options
- selectionne choisir un plan et clic sur le plan de ref que tu viens d'ajouter.
- tu devras sans doutes ajuster la profondeur de ton toit
Maintenant ca devrait rouler !
