Default Worksets Closed when creating new Local

Not sure if anyone has come across this, but when I create a new local, all worksets except the one I last worked on are closed. I put all my linked files on separate worksets, so when I do create a new local now, those links do not appear.

Anyone know how I can ensure these are open when I next create a new local?

Sounds strange. If you open the Worksets dialogue under Collaborate, is "visible in all views" checked for each workset?

When you open or create a new local, there is an option for WORKSETS which allows you tick "ALL", "EDITABLE", "LAST VIEWED" or "SPECIFY"......for some strange reason "SPECIFY" was ticked...question is how does this change itself??

The workset option default is set when you create the central file (or recreate one). If it is set to "Specify", you are prompted to choose worksets to load when you open a local copy.

I haven't seen the worksets be closed when creating a new local file, but I have seen it when opening a local file. Just highlight all of the worksets you want open and set them to be open. Specifying worksets on open is a good option as well. If you are doing something specific and don't need to see the Structural link for instance, you can just leave that workset closed and it will speed up your model.
