Session Description: Many CAD departments are using the latest version of AutoCAD, but are still using outdated methods and processes from older releases to generate and manipulate their details and symbol libraries. Creating details is time- consuming and tedious work as it is, but to under-exploit the latest tools in AutoCAD, which govern this aspect of design is doubly counterproductive. With AutoCAD 2000 you can streamline your work into an environment that helps speed along the production of details in new ways. We'll be examining tools and concepts that may cut your detail creation time in half, and many of these details will be reusable as you construct them in a modular format. This course will also address how to use Internet tools to provide easy access to your library of details.
