Default crosshair flashes the windows "thinking circle"

Posting this after finding a similar thread (was about 3-4 yrs old). After various commands in C3D, my crosshairs will flash back and forth between the crosshair and the windows "thinking circle". This occurs after many different commands, most recently after modifying the properties of a manhole structure. Last night my IT department updated my graphics driver, but has yet to log in on my machine to update the 3DCONFIG (requires admin rights, which I don't have)

    Hardware Setup:

    Dell T5500 tower
    Intel Xeon QX2400
    12gb ram
    600gb HDD in raid 1 (I believe, they're mirrored)

    Software:
    Win7Ult x64

It appears that the Tune Log has been using this driver since 2013 got installed. IT controls windows updates.

    Any thoughts?

We had this happen to us, took forever to track down. Updated all the drivers, installed all the hotfixes and service packs, updated BIOS... Turned out to be a typo in one of the Support Files caused the cursor to go crazy.

Please clarify... 'Support Files' as in Support File Search Path (SFSP)?
