    Question Mouse Jumping

Anyone have a clue as to why when I click on a file in my selection tree my mouse automatically jumps to the bottom left of my screen? It does this occasionally with other actions as well, especially selecting items in the viewing space.

I had this happen to me a long time ago, but I have forgotten what fixed it.

    Any Ideas?

    Hi Don

I personally have not seen the mouse jumping. What version of Navisworks and service packs have you installed?

Are you using a laptop with a touchpad by chance??

I disabled mine so it wouldn't pick up my thumb movement when I get too close to it.

There's also a few software programs that run in the background on your computer that might be causing it. One is called Ginger something or another..

Is it a new problem or did it start when you installed your NW??

Is it a wireless mouse?? Fresh batteries?? Look at the bottom where the little red light is and make sure you haven't picked upa stray hair or dust..

Lots of reasons for this problem, especially if it can't be replicated everytime..
Give a man AutoCad, and he'll draw you a floor plan.
Give a man Revit and he'll build you a house.
Give Cadmama a couple of drinks and she'll have everyone singing Rockytop!

It happened to me before. I have the mouse "jumping" in my Navis Manage. I just re-installed NWManage then everything is ok.
