Hey All

Ive got this idea for a lisp which is based around our drawing register system.
basically we have an excel document coupled with a lisp routine that drives our titleblock information.
when we set up a job we fill out this register and then proceed to create drawings and rename them all and then with a few lisp routines we use the drawing naming convention to automatically do the rest.
my idea is to cut out the drawing creation process by having a lisp that reads the first column of the excel document and creates dwg files named after the contents of these columns.
also it would be nice to have the option of running this indipendantly of autocad if the situation does not require it.

I dont know if any of this is possible. a little imput would be much appreciated.

Cheers
