    Question different multileader arrowheads

    Greetings,

the "add a leader" command for multileaders is a great tool, but I was wondering is there a way to have differernt arrowheads inside that one object? I have a reinforcing detail that I am calling out rebar sizes that are in different perspectives inside the detail. I was just curious if you could add a leader to an mleader object, but then also be able to change the arrowhead for ONE of the leaders not all.

    Thanks for reading.

You could always place a blank MLeader / Leader on the existing. Just remember that they won't update positions as the MLeader does when editing / moving the text.

Please forgive my confusion, but are you saying to make the multileader style have a blank arrowhead and then put the desired arrowhead ontop of the blank leaders?

I don't think there is a way to do what you are wanting. What we do is we add a whole new leader on top of the existing one.

Actually by "blank" I mean a MLeader without text / block. Thus it's just the line & arrow. It'll be a separate entity so you can override it separately from the original MLeader - see attached.

If you hold CTRL then select the leader you would like to change, you can edit the properties (arrowhead type, size, etc.) individually.

Same trick applies in Civil 3D... As an example, consider an Alignment's [Major/Minor] Station Labels.

Kudos, NJ! This is a great reminder tip! It's one those "use it or lose it" items that many of us have lost along the way.

Another Civil 3D trick using the Ctrl key is if you have a data band from a pipe network where the pipe is so short that the data band is too short (not really worth showing), you can Ctrl-click on that particular pipe band, and in the Properties Manager set the visibility to "FALSE"
