2013 here, I can type CON and find and pick on CONTENTEXPLORER to start it.
somebody actually uses the content server and content explorer??
i think we are a little off course. i need the Catalog Library where the tool palettes can be i-dropped into ACAD
OK, that's not part of vanilla Acad. Closest euivalent is going to be Autodesk Design Center, command to start it is ADC. the feature youdescribe is found in the ACA vertical, not the base package.
well thats just dumb. i wanted all our ACAD users to have shared refreshable palettes like the Architectural users. acad palettes should function like the other products

so the only way i can build transfer and update a series of palettes is to import/export in the customize palette dialog?
well, you _could_ spend (a lot) more money and put everybody on ACA - the application that actually has what you want. Or you could develop a custom interface in LISP or dotNet. but just using OOTB tools, not as far as I know, other than ADC And systemactic organization. Which still lacks quite a bit of functionality comared to the ACA feature
