    Here's an example.

I was thinking that double lookups might be the way to go, but I wasn't able to get it to work. I don't want to use vis states for every possibility and not real keen on the idea of a linear move parameter attached to the flip state. It seems like two lookup tables should work, just don't know how.

    Thanks for any help

Just how the title says, is there a way to make a Flip State to control another flip state? I thought I could use a lookup table by adding the second flip state, but I can't add it using the "add lookup properties" radio button (I don't think I understand how this works. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks!

Post a static example of what you want.
Have you ever used Double Lookups? There may be a way...

    -Create Dbl Lookup Set
Open the Block Properties Palette, Go to the Parameter Sets tab, Right click the Lookup Set icon, Copy / Paste then Rename (Lookup Set Double; or whatever), Right click this new Parameter set, Properties, Actions (at the bottom), Click the bar, Click the … , Add Action object Lookup, Ok, Ok, drag and drop as needed. This can be done with any Parameter/Action you want.

    Wow, okay, this is great!

I'm trying to get attributes and their justification to display correctly when flipped.

I have various labels in a block that share the same common number (Comp-1, CT-1, IDCM-1, Fuse-1). I've created half the label as regular dtext (Comp-), while the other half is a field in an attribute that references a common attribute ("1"). This worked great as long as they weren't flipped; as soon as I flipped them, it not only flipped their justification, but also flipped the dtext and the attribute, ending up with "1Comp-" (with incorrect justification). I had looked at solving this, but only came up with creating additional visibility states for every flip possibility, or changing my attributes to multiline. Neither of these options were desireable, and neither addressed the dtext and the attribute flipping position.

So, using your instruction (and seeing that I needed to change the BACTIONBARMODE variable from "1" to "0"), I was able to set up a chain of 7 lookup tables to do what I wanted. So now, everything flips and one attribute fills out the other attributes. See the attached for the final product.

Thanks so much, now that I've got the hang of this, I'm devising different ways I can use it
