Diameter symbol in Pipe Part Size Name (PrtSN) using Calculation Assistant?

I am unable to add a Diameter symbol in the Pipe Part Size Name (PrtSN) using Calculation Assistant in Part Builder in Civil3D 2013?
Ideally I would like to have the calculation for PrtSN place a Diameter symbol in front of the Inner Pipe Diameter (PID).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I managed to add the symbol by simply Copying & Pasting from the symbols library in Microsoft Word... Unfortunately, there is still no way that I can find to omit the space though...
