selecting lots of objects within a drawing

I am trying to do some changes t an existing drawing, moving things to different layers etc

When I select all the objects, the properties bar says 'no selection'

If I select just part of the drawing it shows the number of objects in the properties box

Is there a limit to how many objects you can select?

My older version of cad didn't have this problem

many thanks, just had a read through and I still have the same problem

I am using the properties window, and anything over a certain number, say 20,000, it just says no selection at the top, even when isolating a layer to just change that one

You need to look at the PROPOBJLIMIT system variable as well. I've never modified that many objects at the same time before, hope your PC can handle whatever you set it to.

seems to be a limit of 32767
