    Default Fix for Sticky Cursor in recent Autocad Releases

    I've just been upgraded to Win7 and AutoCad 2011 at my work, and have been pulling my hair out over the extremely sluggish performance whenever I initiate a command requiring data points, say place a line, circle, etecetera. I've been searching the 'net, trying various tricks, reducing file sizes. Nothing much seems to work, and no solutions forthcoming.

    Until today, stumbled on this, and it works:

    At the bottom of the window are Icons for various settings: Ortho, Snap, Grid, and various other. Mouse-over them 'till you find "Allow Disable/Enable Dynamic UCS". Shut it off and see what that does for you
