Sheet Set Manager (SSM)

I am setting up switches for the opening target in the Properties Shortcut in order to open a dwt file from SSM. I can get SSM to open and populate but I want the dwt file to open and ask to be saved as a project dwg file. How then do I get just the dwt file to populate the SSM after being saved as a dwg project as a dwg file? The individual projects are saved in various other folder locations based on several differing criteria. As I understand SSM it takes a dst file in order for the SSM to open a folder. When that happens is, there are now more files available in the SSM that I do not want available. Also when I save the dwt file, while it is in the SSM it does not ask to be saved as, like when a dwt file does when it is opened without SSM. I hope I have explained this well enough to get the help I need. Please advise. Thank you!

DWT is a template for your DST. Editing, Opening or Saving the DWT will not alert your DST or in SSM. SSM will only get information to the DWT if it needs to like, creating New Sheet. Sorry I do not have answer for you, but just an explanation which I understand.
