Publish not naming files correctly

Hi all
I recently migrated from AutoCAD 2010 to 2012 and use publish a lot. In 2010 I used to be able to publish multiple individual PDF files, named only by the layout tab name. Now in 2012, I can only publish to files with filename AND layout name. I can see that the publish options dialogue box has lines for 'Naming' and 'Name', but they are greyed out. I suspect that it may be a setting in the CTB file for 'Custom Properties' in my PDF generator (PDF Exchange 4.0) but comparison between 2010 & 2012 CTB files with same PDF program yields nothing. OS is Win7. Anyone else had this?

Hi welcome to the forum. So many of us are encountering issues plotting / converting DWG to PDF and sometimes it is difficult to determine the source of the problem here in the forum because we do not have the same pdf converter, drivers, version, etc., while autocad still insist users to plot the e-file to DWF.

I might not have an exact solution to your issues but what I had did is, one of my colleague doesn't have any issues with his Publish to PDF so we copy his .pc3 file and over-written those machine that has the problem and it was resolved.
