    Default Print preview issue

    Hi All,

I am a newbie here to AUGI and need help with plotting.

I have been using AC LT for many years and have an issue I have never run across.

My DWG will not print preview certain layers and I have confirmed they are on and frozen with the printer icon showing without a strike through it.

Also my xref (drawing boarder) will attach, however it does not show in print preview either.

Also what seems strange to me is, the color of my boarder is grey, not black like it normally would be. When checking it in my layer manager it shows white/black.

    Please Help!!

Without being able to look at the file, it's improbable that we'll come up with an answer. Delete any confidential information, and then run etransmit and zip the drawing, xref, ctb, etc and post it here.

    Stagg,

Hi there! As CADtag has suggested, it would be quicker and easier for us to help if we could see the file(s) in question.

My first assumption is that maybe you've accidentally inserted your x-ref on a non-plotting layer, but, your post doesn't make it clear if the problem carries over to the printed copy or not? Does the titleblock show up if you send the print?

The difference in appearance between your layer color is most likely the result of the assigned plot style (hence the request to see your ctb or stb as well as the drawing and it's x-ref).

    Cheers!

Ensure those layers (and the layer you placed the XREF on) are not set to NOPLOT: if the issue is limited to viewports, ensure those layers inside the viewports are not frozen (this is separate from mdoelspace layer settings).
