    Default Slash Linetype / / / / / /

I'm trying to create a linetype that appears like / / / / / / / /. I would like this to work without dots or lines in between the slashes. I've gotten it to work with dots, however the linetype acts differently depending on what drawing I'm in. Can't figure it out, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'acts differently'? better yet, post a couple of sample drawings that use the line type and behave differently.

... Sounds like different drawings have different LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE, and/or PSLTSCALE value combinations.

I was able to correct the issue between drawings. But, is there any way to create the linetype so it doesn't appear with dots between the slashes? Here's my linetype. I created it using the mkltype command and used Arial text to create the "/":

    *SLASH,Demo Slash / / / / /
    A,0,-.132983,["/",ARIAL,y=-.432735,s=1,r=345],-.766708

I've also uploaded a drawing with the linetype in it.

    Try:
    Code:
     A,0.0,-0.899691,["/",ARIAL,s=1,r=345,x=-0.35,y=-0.4327],0

That works, thanks Tom! I just have to make sure ARIAL is a text style in the drawing and the font height is set to 1. It would be nice if the linetype could be loaded and not be dependant on the text style. Any thoughts?

Then create your own text style for your linetypes that is not for use in the rest of your drawing. I also would not set the text height of this style. The linetype definition already specifies the height. If it is set in the text style, the text style will control the height of the text within the linetype.
