CV41-1: Field-to-Desktop-to-Field Using Land Desktop and Trimble Link

Class Description: This class will explore using raw data collected from the Field of a small site, and then importing that data into Autodesk Land Desktop using Trimble Link. We will explore the techniques used to import and convert this data into the file format needed in Autodesk Survey. Using the tools in Land Desktop, we will create a base plan of existing conditions including a terrain model. Then we will design and create a finished ground terrain model for a proposed design. To complete the Field to Desktop to Field process, we will export the proposed design through Trimble Link for the purpose of Staking out the new design.
