Default PD33-1: 3D For Plant Design, Why, When and How

    Instructor: Stephen Rien

Class Description: In this class we'll discuss the benefits of using 3D for plant design. We'll see how 3D is used for interference checking and other applications that improve accuracy and reduce costs. We'll discuss scenarios involving time, cost, and client considerations that lend themselves to the use of 3D and also discuss when not to use it. We'll also review the Autodesk and COADE solutions that can help you successfully move in the direction of 3D. This class is designed for CAD managers, but will appeal to anyone working in the plant design industry.
