Default Line Weights- Object styles for Structural Framing sub-catagories: girder vs. joist vs. purlin

I have been trying to get line weight standards in Revit 2013 set up for the office I work at. I have noticed that when I set the cut line weight for girders, joists and purlin's individually, they don't differentiate line weight based on changes made to the sub-category. I have gone to PROPERTIES>STRUCTURAL>STRUCTURAL USAGE, and they are set to the different grades. I feel like I am missing something here. Ay help would be appreciated!

Yes I forgot I had set-up phases and the members I was trying to changing were existing and my view was set to show complete/ new construction. So if you go to the Manage tab>Phasing> click on the "Phases" button you can then click on the "Grapic Overrides" tab and under cut you can override the settings. It will be universal, as in to all cut items, but that should be ok since it is all existing.

Thank you! I wish that were my answer as well. I've got this happening even on a completely blank project where I started it with the "None" template. No phases, not even a single beam family until I loaded it. Thanks for responding though.
