We are in the process of selecting a new plotter. The first one considered was an HP 1050C and an Epson 9600 series was also suggested. The Epson seems to be a better machine, but I would like some input on potential problems with it.
Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the ACAD 2D Layouts & Plotting Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Well, in my HP-biased opinion, I would go with the 1050C. We have it here, and love it! Good workhorse, very few problems in the 4 years we've had it.Originally Posted by caduser
Haven't heard anything about the Epson. I know Epsons overall are decent, and if for some reason I couldn't get an HP I would probably look to them next...especially since my other choices would be a Lexmark or Canon - yuck!
