Default DV33-3: Visualizing GIS and Other Large-Scale Data with Autodesk Map® 2007 and Autodesk® VIZ 2007

Instructors: Michael Choquette - IMAGINiT Technologies and Robert Finch (Co-Speaker)

Class Description: GIS professionals, engineers, and architects are often called upon to create large-scale 3D visualizations of their projects. Whether you’re conducting a shadow or line-of-sight study for a new high-rise or power plant, creating sweeping flyovers of cityscapes or massive construction projects, or simply creating a realistic environment to compliment a smaller 3D project, Autodesk VIZ and Map contain a host of tools to help get the job done. This course is intended for GIS and design professionals with a need for, but no previous experience of, visualizations. Knowledge of Autodesk Map functions (also present in Land Desktop and Civil 3D) may be helpful.
