Default BD31-7L: One Step Beyond: Taking Autodesk® Architectural Desktop to the Next Level

Instructors: Jeff Hanson - Autodesk, Inc. and Dennis McNeal (Assistant); T.J. Meehan (Assistant); Amy Fietkau (Assistant)

Class Description: If you are using Architectural Desktop only to draw walls, windows, and doors, you have just scratched the surface of the available tools. Learn how to start using some of the advanced tools Architectural Desktop offers. The class will focus on the implementation of property sets and scheduling, using AEC dimensions, and generating and editing sections and elevations from your existing drawings. You will learn how to take what you are already producing with Architectural Desktop and build on it using another level of information, thereby increasing your construction document productivity and accuracy. This class will benefit professionals using Architectural Desktop at a basic level who have not yet started, or want to learn more about, implementing, scheduling, AEC dimensions, and 2D section/elevation objects into their current workflow.
