Default linking the parameters of two different objects

I have two families with the same shared parameter (Voltage). Basically, because each discipline likes to see the same equipment differently, we represent one in one model as "A" and in the other model, we Batch Copy Monitor the same EQ in as "B". Unfortunately, as we all know, Copy Monitor only keeps track of position/existence, not parameters. Any idea how to link the two families in such a way that when the info updates on A, B is updated as well?

    Any ideas will help! Thanks

    Not in two separate families.....

What I would do is modify the visibility of the one family so that at one view detail it shows as the consultant representation (The view detail you don't use) and then another representation at the view details you normally use. This way the consultant only needs to modify the view detail of that category to be the one they want to see.

As is the case most times, simpler is better - thanks CDA, I'll see if that works
