Default SE110-1L: A Quick Spin on Revit Structure

Instructors: Thomas Weir with Wai Chu (Assistant) and Kevin Durham (Assistant)

Class Description: This lab will provide a high-level overview of the structural modeling and documentation process using Revit Structure. If you’re considering Revit Structure for your office, or are wondering how to get started in the modeling environment, this session will help you see the complete process. You’ll get hands-on experience working on a multistory steel and concrete commercial building while developing an understanding of many typical structural objects by adding structural elements to an existing, partially done model. By examining the documentation process, you’ll learn about 2D wall sections, elevations and details, Sheet preparation, and how to plot your work. After completing this class, you’ll have a basic understanding of how to model a structure through the design process.
