Default DV304-2: Photographing a Car Without the Car

Instructors: Luc Petitot and Jo Vanhove

Class Description: The car industry has changed so much in the past few years. Currently, every car is modeled in 3D computer graphics at every phase of conception. Autodesk® AliasStudio™ is probably the preferred product for designing in the automotive industry, and, along with help from Autodesk® Maya® and mentalray®, a photograph can now simulate the car without the car even existing. With HDRI images and the imported car model, a photographer -- with the help of the computer graphic artist -- can elaborate all the pictures necessary to prepare the advertising campaign and to be ready when the car arrives on the market.
