Default DE105-4: Turbocharge Autodesk® Inventor™ with Its API

    Instructor: Wayne Brill

Class Description: Autodesk Inventor is an effective application for 3D design, and its API allows you to further automate the process. In this session, we’ll provide an introduction to the Inventor API. We’ll learn how to take advantage of the environment VBA provided free of charge with Inventor and illustrate how simple automation tasks can be set up quickly. This is the first step to opening up the world of the Inventor API, which is both simple, and yet amazingly powerful. This session will also cover Inventor objects and Object Model, and introduce the various Inventor Document objects -- Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings -- and investigate how they can be accessed from the API.
