Can someone explain the difference between Layer Snap Shots and the Layer States Manager? With a few minor exceptions, they look like they do the same thing. But knowing Autodesk, there something hidden in there that is not real obvious.

Hi
What are "Layer Snap Shots", can you please explain to me what they are (or what you mean by that term)?
Have a good one, Mike
In the Layer Manager, there is a little camera icon about 6th from the left. When you mouse-over, it says "Snapshots". From what I've read and from messing around, it just saves the layers On/Off, Frozen/Thawed, etc.
What version of AutoCAD are you using? Thats not in my version.
Snap! (nor mine).Originally Posted by gpope
I see it, but I don't know what it is. Maybe a simplyfied way to save layer states?
Hi
In vanilla AutoCAD 2005?Originally Posted by ddraper
I honestly don't think vanilla AutoCAD has such a tool, therefore I would like to move this thread to the ADT 2005 Forum, is that ok?Originally Posted by bhargis
