Summary: Lighting Calculation Luminaire Plane (LCLP) is based on the lowest fixture in the space and is not user adjustable.

Description: Lighting Calculation Luminaire Plane (LCLP) is based on the lowest fixture in the space and is not user adjustable.

This means that if you have some high bay fixtures at 30ft and you add an exit sign at 8ft, Revit calculates the space as if ALL the fixtures are at 8ft with an end result of a super high average footcandle reading. This is true even if your exit sign family does not have a light source.

At the very least, Revit should base the calculation on the HIGHEST fixture in the room! But better yet, would be to allow the user to adjust the LCLP or to specify what fixtures affect the LCLP - OR for the LCLP to ignore fixtures without a light source.
