Default Session 7 - Part A: Implementing Revit MEP from First Principles

    Instructor: Ian Matthews

Class Description: I have had the experience of implementing Revit MEP into a number of offices over the last couple of years. This class will cover the processes that I went through to reach a apposition whereby the company was in a position to model all services on large contracts to a high level of detail.

We will follow the steps that I went through, the type of work (commercial, medical, defence) I was involved with and will cover practical considerations of time lines, training options, personnel, costs etc.

It is intended for all those who are interested in answering the following questions:

    • Is Revit suitable for my organisation?
    • What steps should we take to implement it?
    • What sort of projects can we use it on?
    • How will it impact on our current work practices?
    • What are the benefits?
    • What are the likely costs?
    • How long does it take compared to Autocad?
