Class Description: This presentation is a non-technical exploration of the use of BIM on this world-beating project, designed by Architectus+Ingenhoven. From project inception, BIM was used to simulate, analyse, and verify ESD performance to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Rating (World Leadership Class). As construction commenced 35 models, representing 32 trades and disciplines were combined to form a coordination model as the basis for a rigorous process of identifying outstanding design and coordination issues. On completion this model will be provided to the client in a number of formats to form the basis of their facilities management model.
