Default Session 10 - Part A LAB: Revit MEP - Get the Spatials Correct

Instructors: Jessica Lucas and Sherman Powell

Class Description: Getting your spacials correct when designing is critical. This class is intended for Revit users who need to add equipment to drawings without thinking of the detail. Even though designers don't have to think of the detail, it is often the reason for poor design solutions. We are going to cover some examples showing the required building code and how this can affect the design. Then we will build a parametric Fire Damper, with the correct code allowances. We will also investigate other critical elements in relation to the required AS code and give parametric solutions to these. The participants will walk away with functioning families and an understanding of the detail behind the build ability of these elements.
