Default Blind/Black spot in Camera View

I'm getting a blind/black spot in some camera views. Any ideas on what causes this. See attached.

    thanks!

What's all the racket over here?

I'm guessing here, but I think the View is being clipped. I suggest trying either...

a.) Under the 3D View's Properties, clear the checkbox "Far Clip Active".

b.) Navigate to a Plan View, right-click on the 3D View in the Project Browser, select "Show Camera", and adjust the camera's range.

If the above doesn't work, maybe changing the 3D View to Wireframe or Consistent Color would help identify an obstruction?
