Default Gaps in wall on sheet layout-ACA2013

I have an issue with gaps in my walls drawn in Autocad Architecture 2013. I have attached a sample file here. It's the Mechanical-Electrical sheet with Baseplan xref.

The baseplan file shows the walls as complete but the mechanical/electrical sheet shows some gaps. I discovered that if I bind the xref the gaps disappear. Im stumped!

The mech-elec.dwg Construct has the base plan.dwg Construct externally referenced, with two XCLIPped instances in close proximity. ACA will try to cleanup the entire extents of an external reference, even if large portions are not visible due to XCLIPping. The gaps you are seeing in your plan are due to Walls that are beyond the XCLIP boundary from one external reference cleaning up with visible Walls in the other.

Ideally, there would be separate Constructs for each level, and there would not be multiple versions of the plans for one level (existing, proposed, out buildings) in a single Construct. (And the floors would align vertically, if the Constructs were all brought into one View file.) If this project is too far along to rework the Construct files, then in the Sheet file, you will need to separate the external references for the two levels to the extent that there is no overlap, or just use one instance of the external reference and expand the clipping boundary far enough to show both levels. You will need to adjust the other objects in the Sheet file to align with the level of the deleted instance, and adjust the viewport on the associated layout.

    Thanks David,
I had my suspicions about the XCLIP and multiple constructs in one view. I appreciate your timely reply to the matter.
    Kindest regards,
    Edward
