    Default MEP System family

This is wish I have been posting for about 4 years. MEP REVIT has system families for round and rectangle ducts. When trying to edit the family fittings, the "Tee" choice is either tee only or none. I would guess that 90% of mechanical contractors use a 45 degree lateral tapered body tee wye for the branches in their round ducts. MER REVIT does not allow me to choose this option so I am constantly pasting in the family. The wye branch could also be another fitting added to the fitting list. Either way, it would be great to make the 45 degree lateral tapered body tee wye part of the system family

If you open the family "round wye - lateral - tapered body.rfa" and open the family category and parameters settings you can change the Part Type from "lateral tee" to "tee". This will allow you to specify it in your round duct routing preferences under preferred junction. Then you should be able to use this wye fitting in your routing layouts without having to paste every time.
