Nice job. Looks like there's some daylight bleed-through where the ceiling meets the walls?

Yeah, 3dsMax has been doing that to me lately. In 2010 and 2011 I never had that issue, but something with ambient occlusion in '12 and '13 causes the corners that should be dark, to turn to a light beam. Its terrible frustrating and its not an easy "google search" to figure out why. I have work to do on the lighting, too many burn spots, but its a start.

I've had that problem as well. I just fudge the geometry to overlap any edges that meet (even though they shouldn't bleed since they are edge to edge).

<face palm> OMG, your comment just made me realize that's why my Nursing Suite renderings didn't do that light bleed. Because I sloppy-modeled that ceiling to the wall behind the soffit...
How screwy is that you have to poorly model things to make them render correctly? That would explain why they didn't in 2010, 11 but do in 12, 13 since they added pre-defined AO.
Just for that, pick any texture you want out of any image I've posted and I'll post it here for you. Mohawk Carpet, that Afromsia Wood grain (recommended) or laminate. I have really good rubber flooring as well if you check my surgery room render.
    Thanks a bunch!

Happens to the best of us

I'm always up for a good wood material; I like the carpet in the Patient Room as well - is that the Mohawk you're talking about? Thanks I don't have too much posted, but if you like anything, I'd be glad to share it.

Not trying to avoid the carpet texture map, I figure the "give the man a fish, eats for a day but teach a man to fish" philosophy. --> The Mohawk website has THOUSANDS of predefined 8'-0 x 8'-0 high quality maps already made. Here's the link but remember to click on "DRAG AND FLY".

Attached is the Afromosia wood. Beautifully linear, smooth and warm grain pattern!

I didn't even think to look at their website.

That is a great wood, thanks
